A serious collision between a motorcyclist and a pedestrian in Port Moody Friday afternoon is being investigated by Port Moody Police (PMP).

The incident closed the 3000 block of Murray Street in both directions while the scene is investigated, police say.

At about 3:15 p.m., PMP were called to the scene and saw that both the motorcyclist and the pedestrian had serious injuries.

Both parties were transported to hospital.

“The road remains closed in both directions as the scene is processed,” states Cst. Sam Zacharias, “Any witnesses we have yet to speak with are asked to contact us.”
