The Delta Police Department (DPD) says it is investigating a suspicious death after the discovery of a deceased woman and a fire in an industrial area.
The DPD says it was called to a field on River Road, south of Westminster Highway, shortly after 6 a.m. Wednesday.
“Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the death and confirm the identity of the deceased,” police said.
Anyone who was travelling in the area early Wednesday morning and may have seen anything suspicious, or who may have dashcam video from the area, is asked to call the DPD at 604-946-4444.
