Surrey Police Service (SPS) are looking for former tenants of a Surrey landlord after he has been charged with break-and-enter into his tenants unit.
Balwinder Singh Bhandher, 48, has been charged with one count of break-and-enter after an investigation started in January when his tenant alleged that Bhandher had entered their suite without permission and had inappropriately touched the tenant’s clothing.
A warrant was issued for Bhandher’s arrest on Oct. 1 and he was arrested on Oct. 14. He has been released with several conditions.
The investigation is ongoing and more criminal charges could be brought against Bhandher.
SPS is now asking for former tenants of Bhandher to come forward if they have any information that may assist their investigation.
The police say that Bhandher had a basement suite for rent in a residence in the 13800 block of 66 Avenue in Surrey. He may have been a landlord at a previous residence as well.
SPS asks that anyone who might have information contact them at 604-599-0502 and quote file 26-5005 (SP).
